Living on the top of a windy hill, I now delight in knowing our bin lids no longer fly open and incessantly beat like a pesky drum as they bang back against the body of the bin. I've even been caught delighting in watching the bins being emptied into the collection truck just to see our LidStops at work. They are easily removed and reattached if you need to open the bin all the way to facilitate something like emptying a grass catcher. A terrific aid and a brilliant idea.

Great purchase

These work really well. Gets very windy here & not uncommon to have bins & rubbish strewn around the streets.

Plus I'm also sick of getting home at the end of the day & having to empty rainwater out of all 3 bins, and that problem is now solved.

Our local council sells latches, but they limit it to one per household, and the lid is still left open after emptying 🙄

I was worried they wouldn't empty if there wasn't much weight in the bin, but I haven't ha any problems.

Wish they were a bit easier to push onto the handle - I end up whacking my knuckles every time, & with arthritis it really hurts!

Apart from that, I'm really happy with my purchase.
